Crown Currency is an Australian Foreign Exchange Retailer. They buy and sell over 80 currencies, charging no fees or commission. They turned to the team at Eightball in 2016 to manage their main objectives.
These were to improve their web presence and to become more mobile-friendly. Our scope was to develop their website to the point where it would handle increased traffic, high volume quote requests and customer demand. Crown Currency expanded across the entire east coast of Australia, from 12 to 29 stores in the space of just three years.
Prompted by this, our client identified additional areas where they could benefit from our assistance. This involved a major branding refresh to attract an ever-broadening audience. We kept the look and feel of the original logos and tidied up the execution of branding materials. This included business cards, flyers, signage, human billboards and pull up banners.
With help from the team at Eightball, Crown Currency continued to ramp up their web, marketing and design process to include services such as Google ads, digital tile ads and on and off-page SEO. This was alongside further developing their website and updating content.
Since 2016 they have experienced a 65% total traffic increase and a staggering 106% spike in mobile device users. In 2018 they upped quote requests by 58% on the previous year.
