About The Client
Established in 1982, Allied Auto is a leader in the automotive industry. Known for top-tier under-bonnet parts and chassis components, their 100+ years of combined experience drive exceptional customer service. They source only the finest components, adhere to rigorous standards, and ensure longevity and reliability in every product.
As the digital era continues to dominate and new technologies emerge, they wanted to stay ahead of the pack by improving their website features for a 5-star customer experience.
AIM (The Vision)
Allied Auto wanted to allow customers to find and purchase auto parts based on their car model via their website. This task may sound simple enough to a customer, but integrating it into a website was a challenge and a half! Nothing the Eightball team couldn’t handle though.
Inital Stages (Trials & Errors)
Leave it with the experts! Our first challenge was determining the best approach. It involved some trial and error to confirm the most suitable software to achieve Allied Auto’s goals.
We dedicated a significant portion of the project to researching and planning the software implementation, ensuring it met the specific needs outlined by Allied Auto. Our savvy website developers experimented with various software interfaces, each presenting distinct limitations and purposes.
After extensive testing, we ultimately opted for four separate softwares that we could seamlessly work together without jeopardising Allied Auto’s website’s overall health and performance. Phew!

Our skilled developers synced up with Partly, unlocking access to a treasure trove of vehicle data and a parts catalogue for auto sellers.
Then, we brought in the big guns with Klevu, an intelligent search bot AI that finds products, (even if there are a few typos) elevating the overall search functionality.

After some serious planning, a bit of trial and error, and some more developer magic, we pulled it off! Now, Allied Auto customers can easily locate and buy all the parts they need by simply entering their car registration and state. The best part?
